“Kagaku-U-kan” is a joint venture between Kaga-City, Ishikawa Prefecture, and the Nakaya Ukichiro Foundation, to explore collaboration between the natural sciences and the arts.
Kaga City is the birthplace of Scientist Ukichiro Nakaya. The city established the Nakaya Ukichiro Museum of Snow and Ice in 1994.
